Welcome

Welcome to the official website of Runcorn Linnets FC.

We are a registered society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 and were formed in the 2006 off-season by the fans of the now defunct Runcorn FC (which was playing under the name "Runcorn FC Halton" at the time). Although when we formed we were technically a "new" club, the Linnets were given special dispensation by the FA to be treated as a reformed version of Runcorn FC - the special dispensation was necessary as the old club had simply become dormant, choosing not to field a team, as opposed to ceasing to exist as a legal entity.

We currently play in the Hallmark Security Football League (North West Counties Football League), and were awarded Charter Standard in October 2011.

Feel free to view the latest news, and find out what's new on the site. If you have any suggestions, comments or questions, then please get in touch using the Contact Us page.

Golf Day Raffle

The purpose of the Golf Day is to raise funds to support the activities of Runcorn Linnets Football Club. The club provides the opportunity to take part in football at all age groups whether that be playing or as a fan. The facilities at The Millbank complex are relatively new and this type of fundraising is required to develop the club in all aspects.

The income generated is essential for the club to operate. Your support will help guarantee the continued activities of The Linnets. This is a fans club and we do not have (or want) the dependence on a benefactor.

There are some great prizes to be won in the Millbank Runcorn Linnets Golf Day raffle - including a voucher for a 4-ball at Forest of Arden Golf Club; Runcorn Linnets season ticket; Dinner bed and breakfast in executive room with complimentary bottle of wine at Forest Hills hotel; beer; wines and spirits; Sunday lunch for four at Runcorn Golf Club; a round of golf for four at RGC; a golf lesson with the club professional at Clifton Road - plus

16 prizes in all... and counting.

Priced at £5 a strip of five can be purchased at our home friendly against Stalybridge(Tuesday, July 12th) ko 7:30pm and Marine (Tuesday 19th July) 7:30 pm. With reduced admission for pre-season games and no matchday programme, raffle or Golden Goal at these games we hope our fans will feel able to participate in the draw to generate important funds for the club.
