SMS Information Service
It is now possible to stay up to date with Runcorn Linnets FC using SMS (Short Messaging Service) via your mobile phone.

There are two levels of service available:

• Match Updates and News at a cost of 25p per message
• News only at a cost of 50p per message

To sign up for the Match Updates and News service, simply text "RUNCORN" (without the quotes) to 84070.
If you only want to receive News, then text "RUNCORN" (without the quotes) to 83070.

What messages will I get on the Match Update and News service?
On the Match Updates service you will receive notifications of the score from most matches at half-time and full-time - so 2 messages per match. You will also receive the messages sent by the news service, but at 25p per message, rather than the standard News service rate of 50p per message.

What messages will I get on the News service?
You will receive notifications of important fixture announcements, e.g. match postponements or cancellations, player news, and other important announcements from the club. These messages are likely to be quite infrequent, at an average rate of one or two per week.

How do I subscribe to the Match Updates and News service?
Text "RUNCORN" (without the quotes) to 84070. Messages to subscribe or unsubscribe are subject to your normal text tarrif.

How do I subscribe to the News service?
Text "RUNCORN" (without the quotes) to 83070. Messages to subscribe or unsubscribe are subject to your normal text tarrif.

How do I unsubscribe?
You can unsubscribe at any time by sending "RUNCORN STOP" (without the quotes) to 83070 for the News service, or to 84070 for the Match Update and News Service. Messages to subscribe or unsubscribe are subject to your normal text tarrif.

How much does it cost?
The Match Update and News Service costs 25p per message, regardless of whether it is a match update or news service message. If you are signed up to the news service only, then the cost is 50p per message.

I only want Match Update messages, can I just subscribe to them?
No, the Match Update service incorporates the News service. If you only want to get Match Updates, then you could subscribe/unsubscribe to the Match Updates and News service each match day.
