16 Feb 2010 : Runcorn lose to Woodley FC 1-2 | Runcorn lost to Woodley FC in the Mid-Cheshire Senior Cup at Wincham Park with a score of 1-2. Lloyd Balazs put the Linnets ahead in the 60th minute, but the Woodley equaliser came just nine minutes later. With the score all square after 90 mins the match entered extra time, but penalties were avoided as Rob Whyte sent off with 10 to go following an incident where Dave Sherlock was seemingly brought down, and then penalised, and finally the visitors took the lead just two minutes from end of extra time from a free kick just outside the area.
