28 Jul 2010 : Chorley Friendly Cancelled | Runcorn Linnets have seen their pre-season preparations unfortuantely hit by a number of injuries to key senior players. A number have already been missing with various niggling injuries and others were added to the list after Monday night’s game against Ashton Athletic. The Linnets have reluctantly had to cancel this Saturday’s game away at Chorley, to give players chance to recover from these injuries. The squad will continue to train, and an assessment will be made on player fitness prior to Tuesday evening’s proposed fixture against Newcastle Town. |
